Let the Breadth of the Rectangular Garden be : B

Given that the Length of the Rectangular Garden as : L = 120

We know that the Perimeter of Rectangle As : 2(L + B)

⇒ Perimeter of the Rectangular Garden = 2(120 + B) metre

Given that Each metre of Enclosed Fence is 75 paise = 0.75 Rupee

⇒ The Cost of the Entire Enclosed Fence = 2(120 + B) × 0.75

⇒ The Cost of the Entire Enclosed Fence = (240 + 2B) × 0.75

⇒ The Cost of the Entire Enclosed Fence = (240 × 0.75 + 2B × 0.75) Rupees

⇒ The Cost of the Entire Enclosed Fence = (180 + 1.5B)

But it is given that The Cost of the Entire Enclosed Fence = 300 Rupees

⇒ 180 + 1.5B = 300

⇒ 1.5B = 120

⇒ B = 80 metre

⇒ Area of the Rectangular Garden = L × B = 120 × 80 = 9600m²
