the cost of fencing a rectangular field at rupees 10 per metre is rupees 1200 if the length of the field is 20 centimetre find the breadth

Length = 20 cm = 0.2 m

Breadth = b

Cost of fencing = Rs.1200

@ = 10m/s^2

Therefore breadth,

1200 = 2(0.2+b)10

1200 = 20(0.2+b)

1200 = 4 + 20b

1200-4 = 20b

1196 = 20b

59.8 = b

Therefore width = 59.8 m = 5980 cm
