The cost of fencing a square garden at the rate of 5rupees per minute is 2000rupees.Find the are of the garden

Cost of fencing = 2000/-

Rate of fencing = 5/-

therefore the perimeter = 2000/5 = 400m

Since it is a square garden all sides are equal

Length of one side = 400/4 = 100m

Area = side x side = 100 x 100 = 10000 metre square
