The cost of chair : x

4x + x = 5x

5x = 1000

x = 1000/5

x = 200

The cost of table = 4 x 200 = 800

The cost of chair = 1 x 200 = 200

Let cost of chair be x so table is 4x

x+ 4x= 1000

5 x = 1000

x= 200.

Cost of chair is Rs 200 and cost of table is Rs 800.
