To find : cost of 1 cake , 3 cakes and 9 cakes .

Given : cost of 2 cakes = $ 5

Solution :

  • We know that cost of 2 cakes = $ 5

        then cost of  1 cake = $ (\frac{5}{2} )

                                         = $ 2.5

  • Now , we can find cost of two cakes ,

           cost of 2 cakes = $2.5\times 2

                                     = $ 5

  • Similarly, cost of three cakes is ,

         cost of 3 cakes = $ 2.5 \times 3

                                   = $ 7.5

Hence , cost of 1 cake , 3 cakes and 9 cakes is 2.5 , 5, 7.5 respectively .
