Answer:

Let the cost of tie be x.

Cost of shirt = Rs.516 - x

According to Question,

x = 130% of 1/3 (516 - x)

=> x = 130/100 × 1/3 (516 - x)

=> 30x = 13 (516 - x)

=> 30x = 6708 - 13x

=> 30x + 13x = 6708

=> 43x = 6708

=> x = 156

Hence, cost of tie = Rs.156

Cost of shirt = Rs.516 - 156 = Rs.360
