Ex,Unicellular or multicellular.

2)Cell organisation

Ex,Eukaryotic or Prokaryotic.

3)Modes of Nutrition

Ex, 1)Autotrophic:

i)Photoautotrophic.

ii)Chemoautotrophic.

2)Heterotrophic:

i)saprophytic.

ii)parasatic.

iii)symbiotic.

iv)holozoic.

4)Modes of Reproduction:

Ex,Asexual or Sexual reproduction.

5)Phylogenetic Relationship.

From all of the above criteria's there are first main 3 criteria are used for classification.
