hello!

The crowed bus bursting at every angle, crawled heavily to a stop with a groan.
Now a bus can't "groan".Nor can it "crawl". So clearly, these are the characteristics of a human, given to a bus to make us clear about the situation.
So the correct option is:-
D. personification (attributing human characteristics to inanimate objects)
