IU is neither stable nor permanent as the earth's crust floats on liquid lava which keeps moving and the crust with it

Magma below the crust still retains most of the heat left over from the formation of the earth. It is semi-fluid rock, constantly flowing in hot convection currents that rise and fall like that stuff in a lava lamp.

This constant movement below the surface is always shifting the crust and moving it in one direction or another, resulting in tectonic plate movement, earthquakes, and volcanic activity.
