The total force exerted by the box on the surface is equal to its weight (or the normal contact force) = mass * g = 7.2 kg * 10 m/s² = 72 N.
The area of contact is the area of the bottom face, since it's in contact = side² = 3 m * 3 m = 9 m².
Now, pressure is defined as force/area.
So, pressure = 72 N / 9 m² = 8 N/m² or 8 Pa.
