Answer:

v =220v

i=2A

v=IR

220/2=110

therefore answer is 110 ohms

Answer:

The resistance and the potential difference of the circuit is 110Ω and 110 volt respectively.

Explanation:

We will use the Ohms law to solve this question. Which is given as,

V=IR        (1)

Where,

V=potential difference across the circuit

I=current flowing through the circuit

R=resistance of the material

From the question we have,

I₁=2A

V₁=220V

I₂=1A

The resistance of the electric heater is given as,

R_1=\frac{220}{2} =110\Omega         (2)

The potential difference across the circuit is given by using the equation  (1) as,

V=1\times 110=110volt

Hence,the resistance and the potential difference of the circuit is 110Ω and 110 volt respectively.
