Given:

The current/voltage relationship for two resistors A and B

To Find:

the value of the resistance of each resistor and the power dissipated through each resistor

Explanation:

For resistor A,

V = 20 v

I = 20 × 10⁻³A

∴ R = V/I = (20 × 10⁻³) / 20

R = 1000Ω

For resistor B;

V = 16v

I = 5 × 10⁻³ A

R = V/I = (16 ×10⁻³ )/ 5

  = (160 × 10²)/5

R = 3200Ω

Power = V²/R

For resistor A

           = (20)² / 1000

          = 0.4 W

For resistor B

           =  (20)² / 3200

           = 0.125 W
