2×pi×r×h = 264 sq. metre
so, pi×r×h = 264/2 = 132 ----------(1)
Now,
pi×r×r×h = 396 cubic metre ------(2)
from equation (1) put pi×r×h = 132 in equation (2)
132×r = 396
r = 396/132 = 3 metre
so, diameter = 2×3 = 6 metre
now, put r = 3 in equation (1)
2×3.14×3×h = 264
18.84×h = 264
h = 264/18.84 = 14 metre
So, height of pillar = 14 metre and diameter of pillar = 6 metre
so, pi×r×h = 264/2 = 132 ----------(1)
Now,
pi×r×r×h = 396 cubic metre ------(2)
from equation (1) put pi×r×h = 132 in equation (2)
132×r = 396
r = 396/132 = 3 metre
so, diameter = 2×3 = 6 metre
now, put r = 3 in equation (1)
2×3.14×3×h = 264
18.84×h = 264
h = 264/18.84 = 14 metre
So, height of pillar = 14 metre and diameter of pillar = 6 metre
