Diameter = 5 cm and height = 17.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Curved surface area of the cylinder = 550 cm²

⇒ 2πrh = 550 ------- (1)

Volume of the cylinder = 1375 cm³

⇒ π²rh = 1375 ---------(2)

Divide (2) by (1), we get

$\frac{\pi r^2 h}{2\pi rh} =\frac{1375}{550}

$\Rightarrow \frac{\pi \times r^{2} \times h}{2 \times \pi \times r \times h}=\frac{1375}{550}

Common terms get canceled.

$\Rightarrow \frac{r}{2}=\frac{5}{2}

r = 5 cm

Diameter = 2 × 5

Diameter = 10 cm

Substitute r = 5 in (1),

⇒ 2π × 5 × h  = 550

$\Rightarrow h=\frac{550 \times 7}{22 \times 2\times5}

h = 17.5 cm

Diameter = 5 cm and height = 17.5 cm
