  • Curved surface area of cone → 352cm²

Find:-

  • Height.

Solution

Formula :-

\boxed{ \sf CSA \ of \ cone = \pi rl}

R is radius

l is height.

\sf \implies 352cm^2  = \dfrac{22}{7} \times 8 \times l \qquad\qquad ...[Taking \ \pi \ as \ \dfrac{22}{7}]

\sf \implies\dfrac{352cm^2 \times 7}{22 \times 8}   = l

On solving it, we get

\sf \implies l = 14cm

Therefore, the height of the cone is 14cm.
