Solution:-
Curved Surface Area of the cylinder = 2πrh
264 = 2*22/7*r*h
rh = (264*7)/(22*2)
rh = 42
h = 42/r ...........(1)
Volume of the cylinder = πr²h
924 = 22/7*r²*42/r
r = (924*7)/(22*42)
r = 7 m
So, the diameter of the cylinder is 14 m
Now, substituting the value of h = 42/r
h = 42/7
h = 6 m
So, the height of the cylinder is 6 m
The ratio of the diameter of the cylinder to its height = 14 :6
= 7 :3

• Let the radius=R

• Height=H

• Curved surface area of a toy = 264 cm2

2πrh =264cm2

R^2=(264)^2 / (2πh)^2

• Volume of toy=924cm^2

πr^2h=924

R^2=924/πh

Equating both R values to find H value

924/πh = (264)^2 / (2πh)^2

H=6 cm

Finding R value

2πrh=264 cm2

R=7cm

diameter=7*2=14

ratio=6:14
