hiiii!!!!

here's ur answer...

given the height (Length) of the cylinder is 14m.

CSA (curved surface area) of the cylinder = 220m²

therefore 2πrh = 220m²

==> 2 × 22/7 × r × 14 = 220m²

==> 44 × r × 2 = 220m²

==> 88 × r = 220m²

==> r = 220/88

==> r = 2.5m

VERIFICATION:-

CSA of the cylinder = 2πrh

= 2 × 22/7 × 2.5 × 14

= 2 × 22 × 2.5 × 2

= 220m²

hence verified

this the radius of the cylinder is 2.5m

now, TSA of the cylinder = 2πr(h+r)

= 2 × 22/7 × 2.5 ( 14 + 2.5 )

= 110/7 × 16.5

= 1815/7

= 259.28cm² (approximately)

hope this helps..!!

Hi there !!

Given,
Curved surface area of the cylinder = 220m²
Length or Height of the cylinder = 14m

We know,
the formula for curved surface area = 2πrh

Here the measure of radius isn't given,
so,
let the radius be ' r '

220 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r \times 14

 \frac{220 \times 7}{2 \times 22 \times 14}  = r

r = 2.5 cm

Total surface area of the cylinder = 2πr(h+r)

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}   \times 2.5(14 + 2.5)

= 259.285cm² (approx.)

Thus,
the total surface area is approximately 259.285cm²
