The curved surface Area of a right circular cylinder pf height 14 m is 88 cm². Find the diameter of the base of cylinder.​

=> Given ,  The height of cylinder = 14cm 

=> and , the curved surface area of cylinder = 88cm2

=> we know that , 

=> the curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

=> and 2r=d

=> here , r = radius of cylinder , d = diameter of cylinder and h = height of cylinder

=> so , the curved surface area of cylinder =πdh =88cm2

=>  π×d×14=88

=> 722×d×14=88

=> d = 2cm

=>  so, the diameter of the cylinder is 2cm

H = 14m

h = 1400 cm

CSA of cylinder =

2 × pie × r × h

= 2 × 22/7 × R × 1400 = 88 cm^2

= 2 × 22 × R × 200 = 88

44 × 200 × R = 88

8800 × R = 88

R = 8800/88

R = 10 cm

Diameter = 10 × 2

20 cm
