The curve surface area of frustum of a cone is given by,

\textbf{curve surface area}=\pi(R+r)l

where R is radius of bigger circular end of frustum and r is the smaller circular end of frustum. l is lateral length of frustum.

Let height of frustum is h.

then, l=\sqrt{h^2+(R-r)^2}

so, curve surface area of frustum = \pi(R + r)\sqrt{h^2+(R-r)^2}

 \implies \: tsa = \pi \: l(r1 + r2) + \pi \:  {r1}^{2}  +  \pi {r2}^{2}

 \implies \: csa = \pi \: l(r1 + r2)

 \implies volume =  \frac{1}{3}\pi \: h( {r1}^{2}  + r1.r2 +  {r2}^{2} )
