hello users ...
Given that:
curved surface area of cylinder = 1760 cm²
&
volume of cylinder = 12320 cm³
we have to find:
height of cylinder= ?.
solution:-
we know that ;
curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh
&
volume of cylinder = πr²h
here,
according to given;
C.S.Area = 1760
=> 2πrh = 1760
=> πrh = 1760 / 2 = 880
and
volume = 12320
=> πr²h = 12320
=> πrh × r = 12320
=> 880 × r = 12320
=> r = 12320 / 880
=> r = 14 cm
now,
putting the value of 'r' in
2πrh = 1760
=> 2π × 14 × h = 1760
=> h = 1760 / 28π
=> h = ( 1760 / 28 ) ×( 7/22 )
=> h = 12320 / 616
=> h = 20 cm Answer
