The daily expenditure of a sports coaching camp is Rs 12200 when there are 30 male and 20 female members.
When the number of females and makes increase by 25% and 10% respectively, the daily expenditure turns
out to be Rs 14170. What would have been the daily expenditure (in Rs) if the number of females and males
had increased by 10% and 20% respectively?​

Answer:

expenditure of 30 male and 20 female = 12200

30x+20y= 12200--------(I)

No. of Female after 25% increase = 20 +5= 25

No. of male after 10% increase = 30 +3 =33

expenditure of 33 male and 25 female = 14170 rs.

33x +25y= 14,170 --------(2)

if no of female increase 10 % = 20 +2=22

if no of male increase 20 % = 30 +6 = 36

on solving equation 1 and 2 , u will find value of x and y

x=240 y = 250.

22x+ 36y=

22×240+ 30×250

5280 + 7500

=12780 rs

10% increase in male = 3

33x+25y=14170--(2)

10% increase in female = 10% of 20 =2 then females becomes 22 total

20% increase in male = 20% of 30 = 6 then males becomes 36 total

by solving (1)&(2) we get x=240 and y=250

so by above statement we get

36x+22y=36(240)+22(250)=8640+5500=14140 is answer
