The date on which the Constitution was in enforced is celebrated on which day? Answer in detail

The Constitution of India was signed and adopted on 26th November 1949, but it came into effect on 26th January 1950, which is celebrated as the Republic Day so as to honour the pledge taken at the Lahore Session of 1929 which adopted the resolution of Poorna Swaraj and fixed 26th January 1930 as the first Republic Day

Actually, on 26th January 1929, congress party in its lahore declaration gave slogan of purna swarajya (complete freedom). Later, when enactment of constitution was complete in 26 November 1949 then it was decided to commence constitution from 26th January 1950 in order to commemorate historic day of Lahore declaration.
