The two men had earlier been trapped in a desert island along with one of the man's son. Think the first man as A, second as B and the son as C (C was B's son). C died due to some reason and A used his flesh as food though he didn't let B know about. A told B that it was albatross. They escaped somehow and now they were in a restaurant and both of them ordered albatross to honour the food which kept them alive. When B ate it, he immediately knew that the taste was different. He then realized that it was not albatross he had eaten but the meat of his dead son as there was no one or thing in the island. Hence filled with sorrow and remorse he shot himself.
