It will terminate after 4 decimal places as this can be written as 14587/(5^4×2) and now we multiply both numerator and denominator by 2^3 so this would become 14587×2^3/(5^4×2^4) and the power of both 5 and should be same to determine the decimal expansion of the no. so the answer in this case is 4
