In 1946, the government of labour wanted to settle the Indian constitutional issues as early as possible.
But that happened only in the year 1946 in March month, three ministers of British Cabinets who are A.V Alexander, Pethick Lawrence, and Sir Stafford Cripps, participated in the negotiations, then climax was reached.
From Congress side, the negotiations were held by Abul Kalam Azad along with the aid of Nehru and Patel. Mahatma Gandhi also took part in the consultation.
