Kingdoms are the highest taxonomic groups of living organisms. Biologists since ages primarily from the time of Aristotle (384-322 BC) have divided the living things into two kingdoms namely plants and animals.
But currently divided into five kingdoms. The disadvantages of kingdom include that there is diversity in kingdom Protista and also that there is no place for viruses.
Moreover similar organisms are kept in different kingdoms eg unicellular and multicellular algae.
