let the numerator be x
so denominator =x+3
ATQ
(x+3)²-x²=21
x²+9+6x-x²=21
6x=21-9
6x=12
x=2
so
fraction is 2/5
\huge\bold{numerator = 2} \: \\ \huge\bold{denominator = 5}
