let the numerator be x.

let the denominator be y.

A.T.Q.

y=1+2x -----------(1)

(x+5)/(y+5)=3/5 ---------(2)

putting eqn. (1) in eqn. (2)

(x+5)/(1+2x+5)=3/5

(x+5)/(6+2x)=3/5

by cross multiplying,

5(x+5)=3(6+2x)

5x+25=18+6x

25-18=6x-5x

4=x

putting value of x in eqn. (1)

y=1+2(4)

y=1+8

y=9

so, the original fraction is 4/9.
