and denominator be y
given that
y = 3 + x. cond 1
also given that
(x-3)/(y+2) = 1/5
5x-15 = y+2
5x - 15 = 3 + x +2. ( from cond 1)
4x = 20
x = 5
y = 8
so the fraction is 5/8
