The denominator of a fraction is 3 more than the numerator. If 2 is added to the numerator and 5 is added to the denominator, the fraction becomes 1 ÷2. Find the fraction.

let numerator be x
then denominator =3+x..

ATQ
 \frac{x + 2}{x + 3  + 5}  =  \frac{1}{2}
 \frac{x + 2}{x + 8}  =  \frac{1}{2}
2x + 4 = x + 8
2x - x = 8 - 4
x = 4
therefore numerator =4
and denominator = 4+3=7.
