Let the Numerator of the certain Fraction be x.

According to the Questions,

 

               Denominator =  Numerator - 4

                                     = (x - 4)

Thus, the Fraction = Numerator/Denomenator

                             = x/(x - 4)

Also,

      6 + x = 3(x - 4)        [As per as Question]

     6 + x = 3x - 12

     6 + 12 = 3x - x

     2x = 18

       x = 9

Thus, Numerator = 9

Denominator = x - 4

                     = 9 - 4

                     = 5

Fraction = x/(x - 4)

             = 9/5

Thus, Fraction will be 9/5.
