Answer:

Let the numerator be x then denominator will be

x+4

N=x+1 when 1 is added

D=x+4-2=x+2 when 2 is subtracted

x+1/x+2=24/25

By cross multiplying

25(x+1)=24(x+2)

25x+25=24x+48

25x-24x=48-25

x=23

Numerator is 23

Denominator is 23+4= 27

Obtained fraction is 23/27
