Step-by-step explanation:

Let the denominator be x and numenator be y.

According to first condition

x=2y+4

x-2y=4...1

According to second condition

x-6=12(y-6)

x-6=12y-72

x-12y=-66...2

Subracting eqation 2 from equation 1

10y=70

y=70/10

y=7

Sunstituting y=7 in equation 1

x-2(7)=4

x-14=4

x=4+14

x=18

Fraction y/x is 7/18
