Answer:

let numerator = x, and denominator = y

given denominator = 6+x

so, y = 6+x..(1)

and when two added numerator and denominator

==> x+2/y+2 = 1/2

==> 2(x+2) = 1(y+2)

==> 2x+4 = y+2

==> 2x-y = -2..(2)

substitute value of y in eq(2)

==> 2x-y = -2

==> 2x -(6+x) = -2

==> 2x-6-x = -2

==> x-6 = -2

==> x = 4

and denominator y = x+6

so, denominator = y = 4+6 ==> 10

so, fraction is ==> x/y ==> 4/10
