Let the numerator be= x+17

Let the denominator be= x+8-1

ATQ

x+17/x+8-1 = 3/2

x+17/x+7 = 3/2

2(x+17) = 3(x+7)

2x+34 = 3x+21

2x-3x = 21-34

-x = -13

x = 13

Numerator = 13

Denominator = 13+8 = 21

                      = 13/21

Hope it helps!
