Heyya!

Let the numerator be 'x'

Denominator=x+10

According to the question:

(x+19)/(x+9)=3/2

2x+38=3x+27

x=11

Thus the fraction becomes 11/21.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numerator be x

According to the question the denominator is more than the numerator by 10

so ,

denominator will be x + 10

numerator is increased by 19

so, x + 19

denominator is increased by 1

so, x + 10 - 1 = x + 9

the number is

x + 19 3

——— = ——

x + 9 2

cross multiplication

2(x + 19) = 3(x + 9)

2x + 38 = 3x + 27

38 = 3x - 2x + 27

38 - 27 = x

therefore,

x = 11
