Hii friend,

Let the numerator of the fraction be X.

Then , the denominator of the fraction = (2X+4)

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = X/2X+4

Numerator and denominator are reduced by 6 then the numerator and denominator becomes (X-6) and (2X+4-6) = 2X-2.

According to question,

2X-2 = 12(X-6)

2X-2 = 12X-72

12X-2X = 70-2

10X = 70

X = 70/10

X = 7

Numerator = X = 7

And,

Denominator = 2X+4 = 2 × 7+4 = 18

Fraction = Numerator/Denominator = X-6/2X+4 = 7/18

HENCE,

fraction = 7/18

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU..... :-)
