The density of 20% weights by volume Solution of NaOH is 1.5 g/mold calculate % by weight of NaOH in solution .

100 ml solutions has 20 g NaOH

Wt of 100 ml solution = 100 ml× 1. 5g/ml= 150g

wt of fraction of NaOH = 20/150 = 20/15

% by weight = 2/15 × 100 = 40/3 = 13.33
