Explanation:

their is a simple way to solve this question we know that formula of density is =mass/volume. here mass is 20kg and length is 5 cm so we take length as a volume therefore ,density=mass/volume=20/5 and multiply by cgs system I.e. 8gm/cm^3 therefore we get 32 as our answer

The density of the material in the new system is 0.05 units.

Given,

Density = ρ = 8 g/cm³

Unit of length in new system = 5 cm

Unit of mass in new system = 20 kg

To Find,

The density of material in the new system

Solution,

Density is the amount of mass present in a given volume.

Density = Mass/Volume

ρ = 8 g/cm³

Let the Unit of density in the new system  = ρ'

ρ' = Mass/Volume

Volume = (Length)³

ρ' = \frac{20}{5^3} kg/cm³

ρ' = \frac{20}{125} kg/cm³

ρ' = 0.16 kg/cm³

ρ' = 160 g/cm³

New Density = ρ/ρ'

New Density = \frac{8}{160}

New Density = \frac{1}{20}

New Density = 0.05 units

Thus, the density of material in the system is 0.05 units.
