Given :-

  • The density of aluminium is 2710kgm¯³. An aluminium block with dimensions 2 m x 1.5 m x 1 m.

To find :-

  • Mass of aluminium block

Solution :-

  • Density of aluminium = 2710kgm¯³

  • Length of aluminium = 2m

  • Breadth of aluminium = 1.5m

  • Height of aluminium = 1m

Now,

→ Volume of aluminium

→ Length × breadth × height

→ 2 × 1.5 × 1

→ 3 m³

  • As we know that

→ Density = Mass/Volume

→ 2710 = Mass/3

→ Mass = 2710 × 3

→ Mass = 8130 kg

Hence,

  • Mass of aluminium is 8130 kg

Answer:

Density is a mass per volume.
