The density of an aluminium is 2.7 gm/ cm3 and iron is 7.8 gm/ cm3. If both metals have the same value of mass i.e. 10 gm, which metal will have more volume

Given :-

Mass of aluminum and mass of iron is 10gm

Density of aluminum= 2.7 gm/cm³

Density of iron = 7.8 gm/cm³

To find :-

which metal will have more volume

We know that

Density = mass / volume

Volume = Mass / Density

For volume of Aluminum :-

10gm / 2.7 gm / cm³

= 3.703 cm³

For volume of Iron :-

10gm / 7.8 gm/cm³

= 1.282 cm³

So volume of aluminum is greater than volume of Iron........
