as we know 1g=(10)^-3kg
and 1cm =(10)^-2m
thus changing the system of density from CGS to MKS
we have 8.83gcm^-3=8.83*(10)^-3kg/((10)^-2)^3m3
=(8.83*1000000/1000)kg/m^3
=8830kg/m^3
