According to the Big Bang Theory the earth and other planets of the solar system were created by an explosion in the sun.

During the solidification and the colding process of the planet earth,the heavier substances like metals(iron,gold etc.) went down to the core portion of the planet due to it's heavier weight.And the other light substances stayed at comparatively higher position,which created the crust portion of the planet.

That's why the statement,"The density of various material is not the same in the interior of the earth;" is completely true.
