Given length of diagonal of a cube = √12 cm
Recall that length of diagonal of a cube = √3 × Length of edge of the cube
⇒ √12 = √3 × Length of edge of the cube
∴ Length of edge of the cube = √12 / √3
= 2√3 / √3 = 2
Thus the edge of the given cube is 2 cm
so volume of cube = a^3
= 2*2*2
= 8cm^3
Recall that length of diagonal of a cube = √3 × Length of edge of the cube
⇒ √12 = √3 × Length of edge of the cube
∴ Length of edge of the cube = √12 / √3
= 2√3 / √3 = 2
Thus the edge of the given cube is 2 cm
so volume of cube = a^3
= 2*2*2
= 8cm^3

Hi friend!!
we know that, the diagonal of a cube ( 'a' as it's side) is given by √3×a
Given,
√3×a=√12
√3×a=2√3
a=2
so, the volume of the cube =a³
=(2cm)³
=8cm³
I hope this will help you ;)
