The diagonal of a quadrilateral shaped field is 20m and the

perpendiculars dropped on it from the remaining opposite vertices

are 10m and 14m. Find the area of the field.​

Total area of field=area of first triangle+area of second triangle

=1/2*b^h+1/2*B*H

=1/2*24*13+1/2*24*8

=252m2.
