Let another side of rectangle be z
All angle of rectangle are of 90 degree
By Pythagoras Theorem
Diagonal ^2=side1^2+ side^2
5^2=4^2+z^2
25=16+z^2
z^2=25-16
z^2=9
Taking square root of both the sides
z=9 cm
Area of rectangle=lenght ×breadth
Area=9×4
Area =36 sq cm
hope it will be useful.....
