Here the diagonal becomes the hypotenuse i.e. 5cm and 4cm is its one of side so let it be the base of rectangle
Now, Apply Pythagoras theorem,
H²=B²+P²
(5)²=B²+(4)²
B²=25-16→B²=9→B=±3
But ,we take only positive value bcz we ae talking about Area...
Now ,Area of rectangle =
length \times breadth
So it is A=3×4=12cm²
