here's ur answer...

area of rhombus=1/2×d1×d2

=1/2×12×14

=6×14

=84cm²

we all know the diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other, thus giving us four right triangles and splitting each diagonal in half.

a² of triangle be 12/2=6cm

b² of triangle be 14/2=7cm

by Pythagoras thereom we will find the side of triangle

here the side rhombus is the longest side of triangle (c²).

a²+b²=c²

6²+7²=c²

36+49=c²

85=c²

√85

therefore side of rhombus is √85cm.
