area of rhombus=1/2×d1×d2
=1/2×12×14
=6×14
=84cm²
we all know the diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other, thus giving us four right triangles and splitting each diagonal in half.
a² of triangle be 12/2=6cm
b² of triangle be 14/2=7cm
by Pythagoras thereom we will find the side of triangle
here the side rhombus is the longest side of triangle (c²).
a²+b²=c²
6²+7²=c²
36+49=c²
85=c²
√85
therefore side of rhombus is √85cm.
