Area of the quadrilateral:

1/2× Diagonal ×[Sum of the perpendicular of the diagonal from opposite vertices.]

$\frac{1}{2} \times 24 \times (8 + 13)m {}^{2}$

$\frac{1}{2} \times 24 \times 21m {}^{2}$

$= 12 \times 21m {}^{2}$

$= 252m {}^{2}$

Hence, the area of the field is 252m².
