Question :- The diagonals of a rectangle ABCD intersect at o. if ∠ BOC =70 Degree. Find ∠ODA.

Solution :-

➽ Since in a rec diagonal are equal and bisect each other.

∴ OD = OA

and ∠S opp to equal sides are equal

∴ ∠ 1 = x

➩ Now, In ΔODA

➩ ∠DOA=70 Degree (vertically opp. ∠S)

➩ x + ∠1 + 70 = 180 Degree (∠ sum prop)

and ∠1 = x

∴ x + x + 70 = 180

➩ 2 x = 110

➩  x =  \frac{110}{2}

➩ x = 55 Degree

∠ ODA = 55 Degree.
